Writer. Director. Editor. NYC
Jingjing is a Chinese-American filmmaker based in NYC. Supported by Sundance and Gotham Week Project Market, she is working on her debut narrative feature film, KID C. Her writing process includes working with therapists and learning therapy modalities such as Internal Family Systems and Attachment Theory. Making films is her way of standing up for herself and speaking up in ways that she’s scared to do. Her films serve the underrepresented and her goal is to create more love, joy, abundance, and healing in the world. Her films are her gifts to the world.
Her short films have screened at HollyShorts, Nitehawk Cinema + MoMA, Cleveland International Film Festival, Sun Valley, Davey Fest, Seattle Asian American Film Festival, and Museum of the Chinese in America. Her work has been profiled in Paper Magazine, AM New York, BuzzFeed, High Country News, South China Morning Post + more. She is a NYFA & Geri Ashur Fellow in screenwriting, and Blackmagic Collective’s 2024 Bridge the Gap Initiative Fellow.
